The Nestling

Charles L. Grant

synopsis

Nominated for a World Fantasy Award in 1983, The Nestling was one of Charles L. Grant’s few novels that took place outside of his mythical city Oxrun Station. It is a thoroughly convincing story of ancient evil summoned to a small Wyoming town. Along the way, it intelligently addresses questions of outsiders and Native Americans, and also has Grant’s signature stamp of convincing relationships and strong female characters.
This edition also features a bonus short story by Charles L. Grant, a reproduction of the original Pocket books paperback cover, and an excellent introduction by T.M. Wright, who has also signed this 150-copy limited edition book.
The book is bound in black cloth with the cover image inset into the front board. The whole is wrapped in a striking dustjacket. Ship date: early April 2013.
