Richard Wilson

Richard Wilson (1920-1987) was an American science fiction writer and member of the Futurians. His work includes “The Eight Billion” (nominated for a Nebula); “Mother to the World” (Nebula winner in 1968); and “The Story Writer” (Nebula nominee for Best Novella in 1979). He also worked at the Syracuse University News Bureau. His other contribution to science fiction was in successfully recruiting the donation of papers from many prominent science fiction writers to the University’s George Arents Research Library, called the “most important collection of science fiction manuscripts and papers in the world.”
